The College of Education for Pure Sciences Council Holds its Sixth Session for the Academic Year (2025-2026)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences Council held its sixth session for the academic year (2025-2026), chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, and attended by the council members and the council secretary.

The Dean began the session by reciting Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs of Iraq. She then welcomed the council members, expressing her appreciation for their efforts in overseeing the college’s academic and administrative affairs and their commitment to improving its performance.

During the session, the council discussed several important topics, including:

• Discussing the proposed blended learning approach for first-year students for the new academic year to ensure its alignment with academic quality standards and the development of students’ skills.

• Emphasizing the need to update teaching methods to keep pace with advancements in various scientific disciplines.

• The meeting addressed preparations for welcoming first-year students for the new academic year. This included discussions on the orientation meeting for new students, which will cover dress code regulations, student discipline, and communication channels with academic departments.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of teamwork among all members of the college, as this directly contributes to raising students’ academic standards and enhancing the quality of academic and research performance. She also called for a renewed commitment to supporting the educational process and initiatives that benefit students and enhance the college’s reputation.
