Job Description / Legal Division

Objective and purpose of the function:

Follow-up, preparation, guidance, planning and organization of all matters related to legal affairs in the College.

DIRECT PRESIDENT :

  • Dean of the College .

  • Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs .

tasks and responsibilities :

1- Participating in the committees and meetings to which he is invited and expressing opinions on the results, decisions and participation in the internal and external legal seminars, in accordance with the instructions issued by the Dean.

2. To assist in the issuance of appropriate decisions based on the facts contained in the Legal Affairs Division.

3 – Respond to all questions and legal inquiries received from the departments and people of the college, and provide legal advice in all matters concerning the college on legal rights and obligations and duties.

4 – Verify that all legal legislation is already applied in the college and the initiative to indicate gaps in the decisions and instructions in force in the College through its application to reality and propose the necessary amendments to them.

5. Follow up disputes and cases in which the college is a party and supervise the preparation of documents and documents necessary and documented to remove the college party from any lawsuit against it.

6 – Work on building friendly relations with all faculties and university presidency, which in turn provide legal support necessary for the College in the management of its legal affairs.

7 – Develop legal strategies and general policies of the College to help reduce the lawsuits and overcome the differences and problems with the external and internal aspects of the College.

8 – Membership of the investigation committees concerning violations attributed to employees, teachers and students, or in complaints filed against them or against them or in cases and matters which the College considers the formation of an investigative committee to study and supervise the preparation of the minutes of the investigation after it was conducted and impose penalties on violators in accordance with the law of discipline of state employees and public sector No. 14 Of 1991 amended.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Law as a minimum.

Of experience :

  • Experience should not be less than five years in the practice of legal work.

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, instructions and legislation.

  • Good handling of computer programs and office equipment.

  • the ability to work under pressure .

  • Ability to do more than one job at a time.

  • Ability to write books, reports and records in an appropriate legal manner.

  • Communication and communication skills

Telecommunications :

The work of the Legal Division requires internal communication with all divisions and other departments in the college and external contacts with the university presidency and the university faculties.
