The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a workshop entitled “Training Workshop on Using Excel to Prepare Grade Books for Fourth-Year Students.”

This workshop aimed to introduce participants to the steps of creating grade tables and using basic functions such as SUM and AVERAGE to calculate results. It also covered applying sorting, filtering, and formatting tools to improve data presentation and analysis.
The workshop included several topics, including an introduction to Excel and its role in preparing academic grade books, creating grade tables, and organizing student data according to approved templates.
The presenters recommended the importance of focusing on such topics to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data files and to encourage faculty members to develop their digital skills and use modern systems for grade management.
