Lecturer Dr. Hussein Saeed Abbas from the Department of Biology published a scientific study titled “Infection control strategies between knowledge and practice: a study in Hussein Medical City – Kerbala” in the Kerbala Journal of Nursing and HealthSciences. The study aimed to assess nurses’ knowledge and practice of infection control strategies while working in primary healthcare. The study also found that the nursing staff possessed a significant level of knowledge and practice regarding infection control strategies at Imam Hussein Medical City. The study found a high level of knowledge and practice among the nursing staff at Imam Hussein Medical City.
