The Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific symposium on (Medicinal plants and promising prospects in controlling skin fungi), delivered by Professor Dr. Ban Taha Muhammad and Lecturer Dr. Shorouk Kani Yassin.
The symposium aimed to explain the concept of skin fungi as a group of microorganisms that grow on human skin and cause a variety of diseases and skin disorders. A skin fungal infection can lead to many negative effects on the body.
The symposium also included a detailed explanation of the effects of fungi, which are itching and burning. Skin fungi can cause severe itching and burning, leading to discomfort and discomfort.
