The Department of Chemistry is holding a training course on how to use the ELIZA device in hormonal, enzymatic, protein and immunoassays

Training Course

Within the series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences and under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Professor Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman), the Department of Chemistry held an in-person training course titled (Using the ELIZA device in hormonal, enzymatic, protein and immunoassays) under the supervision (Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Muhammad), (Prof. Dr. Juman Khalil Ibrahim) and (M. Ziyad Tariq Habib). The topics of the training course were as follows:
The first day: Presenting a theoretical lecture on technology and its types
The second day: preparing and preparing the materials related to measuring the desired parameters to estimate their concentration
The third day: using the washing machine and the reader.
The course aimed to train academic cadres to use the ELIZA technique in laboratory tests, as it is a high-quality technique for measuring concentrations up to nanograms per ml, and it is used to quantitatively and qualitatively measure hormones, proteins, and immunological parameters. It was attended by teachers, researchers, and a group of people interested in this topic. We wish for more creativity and progress in the field of meaningful scientific activities and cooperation in service of our dear college.
