An Extensive Tour of the Martyr’s Cultural Week Exhibition…

As part of the Martyr’s Cultural Week activities, the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a field trip to the exhibition held for this great national occasion. The exhibition served as a platform to honor the righteous martyrs and document their heroism and sacrifices. It featured a diverse collection of photographs and historical documents that chronicle the martyrs’ heroism in defending the homeland. The exhibition also highlighted the crimes of the Ba’ath Party regime against the Iraqi people, particularly those committed against Iraq’s martyrs. In addition, it included commemorative plaques and artistic sculptures reflecting the sacrifices made by our heroic sons in protecting the homeland and preserving the dignity of its people. The tour witnessed significant interaction from students, faculty, and visitors, who expressed their admiration for the exhibits and their interest in learning about the lives of each martyr and the stories of their sacrifices for the nation.

This tour was part of the efforts of the college and its partner institutions to deepen the understanding of the concept of heroism and martyrdom among the younger generations and to strengthen national belonging in the hearts of students. The tour helped to link the past with the present, and to demonstrate the historical role of the martyrs in protecting Iraq and establishing the foundations of security and stability.
