Visit of the National Assessment Team to the Department of Mathematics…
The Head of the Department of Mathematics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yahya Abdul, and the other members of the program accreditation team welcomed the National Assessment Team, which was conducting a field visit to the academic departments.
The visit included reviewing the implementation of the academic program and its compliance with the accreditation standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
During the visit, the team reviewed the department’s work mechanisms and methods for documenting evidence and indicators that reflect the teaching and administrative staff’s commitment to quality and accreditation standards. They also reviewed the study plan, research and scientific activities, and training programs offered by the department to its students.
A detailed presentation of official documents and records was given, illustrating the department’s efforts in developing curricula and improving the learning environment. The role of the scientific and administrative committees in monitoring the application of academic performance standards and ensuring the quality of educational outcomes was also explained.
