The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, received the national assessment team tasked with conducting the field visit to the academic departments of the College of Education for Pure Sciences. This visit is part of the procedures for evaluating the eligibility of the bachelor’s degree programs for program accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
During the meeting, the visiting team members were welcomed, and an overview of the college, its academic departments, and its academic and research achievements was presented, along with the development plans the college is implementing in the areas of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
The Dean emphasized the importance of this visit in supporting the college’s efforts to achieve quality standards and program accreditation. She commended the Ministry of Higher Education for its role in monitoring the implementation of academic programs according to national and international standards, and praised the significant efforts made by the academic departments and the Quality Assurance Unit to meet the accreditation requirements. The relevant college deans have been instructed to facilitate the visiting team’s mission and enable them to access all required documents, evidence, and data, in order to ensure the accurate and transparent completion of their work, in preparation for the final report of the visit and its submission to the relevant authorities.
