A Scientific Trip for BIOLOGY Department Students to Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital…
As part of the BIOLOGY Department’s scientific activities, a field trip was organized for second-year students to Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital. The trip aimed to enhance students’ practical skills and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in the medical field.
The visit was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Batoul Abbas Hussein, Assistant Professor Dr. Ban Abdul Hussein Al-Khafaji, and Dr. Dhu Al-Fiqar Abbas Mutab.
During the visit, students toured several specialized departments and units within the hospital. They learned about the advanced equipment used in laboratory tests and disease diagnosis, as well as the scientific procedures followed in collecting and analyzing samples according to the methods used in advanced medical laboratories.
This visit is part of the department’s efforts to solidify applied scientific concepts and develop students’ field skills in line with modern advancements in the life sciences. At the end of the visit, the professors and students expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the administration of Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital for the warm welcome and constructive cooperation in supporting the university students’ scientific journey.
