Meeting of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences with the Graduate Staff of the Mathematics Department…
The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, held a meeting with the teaching staff of the graduate program in the Mathematics Department, in the presence of several professors supervising graduate students.
During the meeting, the status of new students in the Master’s programs was discussed, and their level of academic and research readiness for the start of the new academic year was reviewed. The most prominent challenges students may face in academic and administrative aspects were also presented, and appropriate solutions were developed to overcome them, ensuring the optimal flow of the educational and research process.
The Dean emphasized the need to strengthen communication between supervisors and students and to continuously monitor their progress in their research projects. She emphasized the importance of adhering to academic quality standards and guiding students toward selecting research topics that serve the needs of society and contribute to the development of scientific knowledge.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean appreciated the efforts made by the teaching staff in raising the level of postgraduate studies in the department, calling for continued teamwork to achieve further academic and research excellence befitting the status of the College of Education for Pure Sciences and the University of Kerbala.
