As part of the Protection and Prevention Pillar – Axis 5 (Violence), the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized an awareness campaign titled “Following Up and Supporting Students with Disabilities Academically and Psychologically.” This campaign is part of its awareness programs aimed at promoting a safe and inclusive educational environment for all students.
The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of caring for students with disabilities and the need to provide them with the necessary support to ensure their full integration into the educational process and enhance their chances of success and excellence.
The campaign emphasized that students with disabilities represent a significant segment of the academic community, as they face physical, sensory, mental, or behavioral challenges that may affect their ability to learn and participate in university activities. However, they possess significant abilities and potential that can be developed through an inclusive educational environment and appropriate facilities that enable them to achieve their ambitions and contribute effectively to building society.
