The College of Education for Pure Sciences Continues Its Green Campaign as Part of the National Initiative to Plant a Thousand Trees…

In support of environmental sustainability initiatives and the enhancement of green spaces on campus, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Hamida Eidan Salman, staff from the Services Division and the Agricultural Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences began planting seasonal and perennial seedlings in the college’s gardens. This is part of the national campaign to plant a thousand trees launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The campaign included planting (255) seedlings of seasonal species, distributed harmoniously in the gardens and main walkways to add aesthetic and lively touches to the university environment, contributing to improving air quality and presenting the college with a civilized appearance that reflects its commitment to environmental and aesthetic aspects.

These efforts complement the college’s plan to increase green space and achieve environmental sustainability, in line with the university’s efforts to preserve the environment and promote a culture of agriculture and afforestation among students and affiliates.
