Completion of Work Related to the Rehabilitation of a Number of Vital Buildings on Campus

Based on the urgent need to improve the infrastructure and services surrounding the College of Education for Pure Sciences building, and in accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, the Diwan Division has begun completing the work related to the rehabilitation of a number of vital buildings on campus, namely: the Animal House Laboratory, the Chemical Materials Storage, and the College’s main storage area. This work includes the following:
1. Paving the sidewalks with kerbstone, and tiling the adjacent areas with heavy-duty colored muqarnas, with the aim of improving the aesthetics and effectiveness of the walkways.
2. Widening the entrance to the street leading to these buildings to accommodate vehicle traffic, to facilitate entry and exit and improve accessibility.
3. Landscape and create natural gardens in front of the buildings, using natural plants suitable for the local environment, contributing to improving the overall landscape and increasing green spaces.
4. Roofing the common area between the buildings to provide protection from weather conditions.
5. Construct metal fences around each building to enhance security and organization, while ensuring an aesthetic design that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
6. Isolating the generator site from other facilities with a B.R.C. grass fence to ensure safety and reduce noise and visual disturbance.
