The College of Education for Pure Sciences organizes a training course on “Training in the Use of Electronic Educational Technologies.”

The Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course on “Training in the Use of Electronic Educational Technologies and Identifying Their Effectiveness in Facilitating the Learning Process.” This course was open to students only.

The course was attended by:
Prof. Dr. Saad Jameel Arhim
Lect. Dr. Qasim Abdul Amir Hamidi
Assist.Professor Nada Khadir Tayeh

The course aims to introduce educational media and classify them into several categories. These categories include the classification based on the senses: auditory media, visual media, and audiovisual media.

The training course included several topics related to these media, including the devices, tools, and materials used by teachers to improve the teaching and learning process. This includes clarifying meanings, explaining ideas, training students on skills, instilling good habits, and developing attitudes to achieve correct practical results quickly, powerfully, and at a lower cost. The course also covered educational technologies, which are an organized method for designing, implementing, and evaluating the educational process based on scientific research, relying on human and non-human resources to achieve a sophisticated, quality educational process.

Researchers have recommended the need to pay attention to such topics due to the importance and benefits of educational technologies that facilitate self-directed and independent learning, provide flexible learning opportunities at any time and place, support students with special needs, and enhance interaction and participation.
