The Departments of Chemistry and Life Sciences Conduct a Scientific Visit for a Group of Third-year students to the Uruk Pharmaceuticals Laboratory Affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein

Scientific Visit

In order to enhance joint scientific and academic cooperation between universities and other scientific centers. A group of teachers from the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, along with a group of third-year students, made a field visit to the Uruk Pharmaceuticals Laboratory affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The aim of the visit was to learn about the latest developments in the field of the pharmaceutical industry in the Holy Governorate of Karbala and to educate the students about the importance of This industry and the role of chemistry in it.
There was a field tour of the laboratory’s departments and laboratories, and the laboratory’s management gave us a scientific lecture on everything related to the work of the laboratory, its sections, laboratories, and the modern equipment used in this field.
This visit had a positive impact on the students, as it provided their field of study with practical experience and applications on the ground in the field of the pharmaceutical industry.
We hope for more of this scientific and cognitive cooperation between scientific and practical bodies in order to increase information and awareness among students.
