A Professor from the College of Education for Pure Sciences Publishes a Scientific Article on the Implantation of the Fetus

Scientific Article

The Professor in the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Biology,  (Dr.Alaa Hussein Mahdi), obtained the acceptance to publish a scientific article titled (Implantation of the fetus) by the Scientific Articles Committee at the Presidency of Karbala University after the article fulfilled all publication conditions. (Dr. Alaa Hussein Mahdi) stated that the bone is a living organ that undergoes remodeling in all stages of life, and the remodeling results from the work and close cooperation of the osteoclasts and osteoclasts, as well as the defects that occur to the bone such as small fractures before their fusion, that resorption and formation Balanced bone through which old bone is continuously replaced by new tissue so that it adapts to mechanical load and pressure on it, and in the 1990s Frost defined this phenomenon as bone remodeling. The osteoclasts make a hole or tunnel about 250-300 micrometers in diameter in the bone. Then these tunnels are filled with newly formed bones by osteoblasts, which work after osteoclasts. The newly formed bones are called osteons and have a circular cross-section. The results of this process are the formation of lamellar bone, which contributes to increasing the mechanical strength of the bone and thus works to maintain Bone mold and remove damaged areas and maintain proper levels of ions in the blood. In order to maintain a balance between bone formation and resorption, the bone remodeling cycle is under the control of several factors that coordinate the bone remodeling sequence such as Prostaglandin E2, Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and other factors that are local to the regulation of bone remodeling.
