A research team from the College of Education for Pure Sciences records and publishes 20 models of gene sequences

A research team consisting of Prof.Dr Yasmine Khudair Khalaf and PhD student Radia Najm Abd from the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Karbala was able to publish and record 20 models of new gene sequences related to the PON1 gene, which is considered one of the genes that play an important role in the incidence of diabetes from The second type, as well as heart disease in the database in each of the American Genebank NCBI, the Japanese Genebank DDJB and the European Genebank EMBL during the current year, and that these records are kept in a public information database in the above global gene banks.
Note that there are no previous studies confirming the registration of this type of sequence, and thus the registration is the first of its kind in Iraq.
