President of the University of Karbala Receives Dr. Amir Qasim Ghazanfari from Lorestan University, Iran
Prof. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of the University of Kerbala, welcomed Dr. Amir Qasim Ghazanfari from Lorestan University, Iran, in his office. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman. The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Karbala and Iranian universities, particularly in the areas of joint supervision of graduate students, joint scientific research, academic exchange programs, and twinning between universities.
During the meeting, current aspects of cooperation between the two sides were reviewed, as well as ways to advance them to serve the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s orientation towards openness to prestigious international universities and strengthening scientific and research partnerships that contribute to raising the level of academic and research performance at the university.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the University of Kerbala’s commitment to openness to regional and international academic institutions, which would enhance its academic standing and contribute to developing the skills of students and researchers. He also praised the growing academic relations between Iraqi and Iranian universities.
For his part, Dr. Amir Qasim Ghazanfari expressed his high appreciation for the University of Kerbala, emphasizing the readiness of Iranian universities to expand academic and scientific cooperation to serve the educational and scientific research journey in both countries.
