Receiving the External Examiner from the Islamic Republic of Iran…
Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala, accompanied by Prof. Riyad Dalfi Ali and Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yahya Abdul, Head of the Mathematics Department, received the external examiner from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Amir Qasim Ghazanfari, from the University of Lorestan, Iran. This meeting is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s implementation of educational quality standards and academic accreditation at Iraqi universities. During the meeting, mechanisms for developing scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Kerbala and Iranian universities were discussed, particularly in the areas of joint supervision, scientific research, and academic exchange. This will contribute to enhancing the educational and research environment at the college.
The external examiner also reviewed the dissertations and theses of graduate students, discussing their compliance with international academic standards, and evaluating the academic performance of students and faculty members. He expressed his admiration for the high level of scientific research and the college’s commitment to implementing the robust academic standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. During the meeting, the Dean of the College emphasized that this visit falls within the College’s approach to enhancing communication with international academic institutions, achieving continuous development in the educational process and keeping pace with modern scientific developments in various disciplines.
