The College of Education for Pure Sciences Participates in the Thousand Trees Campaign…
As part of the Thousand Trees Campaign launched by the University of Kerbala Presidency, the College of Education for Pure Sciences participated by delivering (100) seedlings to the nursery of the Afforestation Unit at the University Presidency. This initiative supports afforestation programs and enhances green spaces on campus.
This initiative is in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at increasing the green area on campus and providing a healthy learning environment that contributes to enhancing the aesthetics of the university, in addition to its role in combating climate change and reducing pollution.
The College Deanship emphasized that this participation is only the first step in a series of activities the College intends to organize in the field of environmental protection and spreading the culture of afforestation among students, faculty, and staff, thus instilling the values of social responsibility and belonging to the university institution.
