Scientific Research Award at the Second Kerbala Scholars Conference 2026

With the direct support of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, the College of Education for Pure Sciences achieved another scientific accomplishment, adding to its impressive record of successes. It won the Scientific Research Award at the Second Karbala Scholars Conference in 2026 by honoring one of its distinguished faculty members, Assistant Professor Dr. Safaa Mohammed Reda from the Physics Department, in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievement.

This achievement marks the second consecutive year that the College has won the award for two distinguished scientific research papers, clearly demonstrating the high academic standards and rigorous research efforts of its faculty, as well as the supportive academic environment that fosters creativity and excellence. The ceremony was held in the main hall of the University of Karbala, with the official attendance of the Deputy Governor of Karbala, amidst an atmosphere of pride and appreciation for the college’s outstanding scientific achievement.

The college deanship affirmed that this accomplishment reflects the college’s academic standing and its active role in supporting scientific research, emphasizing its continued support for all scientific initiatives that contribute to achieving excellence and leadership.
