Applications for Study Leaves Within Iraq Now Open
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Research and Development announced the opening of the study leave application system after obtaining official approvals from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to support the scientific process and develop academic staff.
The Ministry clarified that applications will cover approved needs, including: PhD study needs that were previously submitted.
Master’s study needs for top-ranking students, whether within or outside the program, according to official correspondence sent to the relevant departments.
Students who were forced to postpone their Master’s studies and have since returned to their studies. The Ministry explained that applications for study leaves within Iraq will be accepted starting Sunday, April 5th, and will continue until the end of official working hours on Tuesday, April 14th.
The Ministry urged those wishing to apply to adhere to the specified deadlines and complete all application requirements according to the applicable regulations and instructions.
