The College of Education for Pure Sciences Council Holds its Twelfth Session for the Academic Year (2025-2026)
The College of Education for Pure Sciences Council held its twelfth session for the academic year (2025-2026), chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, and attended by the council members and the council secretary.
The Dean began the session by reciting Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the martyrs of Iraq. She then welcomed the council members. During the session, the council discussed several important topics, including:
*Establishing a Digital Transformation Unit within the college and working to automate work procedures in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives for digital transformation.
* Requiring all students in the scientific departments to access and utilize the IQ Learning platform for lectures, course materials, and educational activities.
* Emphasizing the importance of staff and faculty adhering to official working hours and limiting leave to essential cases only, to ensure the smooth operation of administrative and academic work within the college. The council discussed the implementation of the scientific and research plan for the academic departments and emphasized the importance of supporting research activities to enhance the college’s scientific output.
The council stressed the importance of activating the work of the college’s permanent and temporary committees and continuously monitoring their tasks to ensure efficient work organization and optimal distribution of responsibilities.
At the end of the session, the Dean emphasized the need for teamwork among all college departments and for continued monitoring of the educational process to serve students and enhance the college’s reputation.
