The Democratic Center announced the selection of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein Karim Al-Daami, from the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, as a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Environmental and Biological Sciences, published by the center in Berlin, Germany.
This journal publishes peer-reviewed scientific works across a wide range of disciplines. Available research areas include: environmental sciences, biological sciences, epidemiology, human health, zoonotic diseases and animal health, infectious and chronic diseases, biotechnology, climate change and health, food safety and quality, nutrition and public health, the One Health approach, pollution management and environmental sustainability, ecosystem management, human toxicology and environmental toxicology, food technology and innovation, sustainable agriculture and the circular economy, food policies and environmental health strategies, governance, public policy and risk management, and research, innovation, and technology.
The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of medical science by publishing cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, scientific experiments, and technological achievements.
The selection of the faculty member to the editorial board of this journal is based on his distinguished academic standing and his publication of numerous scientific papers in journals both within and outside Iraq, as well as his participation in local and international conferences, including the International Conference of the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University, the International Conference of the College of Medicine at Kerbala University, and the International Conference of Al-Zahrawi University, among others.
