The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, attended the “Crown of Chastity” Festival, organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Abbasid Shrine in cooperation with the University Presidency, to honor female students who wear the abaya.
The festival, which is part of the “National Al-Kafeel Youth Project” established by the Holy Shrine, saw the participation of more than 2,700 female students from various university colleges. Abayas were distributed to them by the Holy Shrine.
This event comes within the framework of the university’s support for purposeful cultural and social programs, and its endeavor to establish a balanced university environment that combines academic excellence with adherence to societal values, in accordance with its educational and pedagogical mission.
