Congratulations on the Prophet’s Birthday

Congratulations on the Prophet’s Birthday

On the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday, Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, extends her warmest congratulations and blessings to the entire Muslim Ummah on this auspicious occasion, the day on which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was sent with prophethood.

She emphasized that the Prophet’s Birthday represents a significant milestone in faith and education, as Islam came to perfect moral character and strengthen virtuous values, citing the Prophet Muhammad’s saying: “I was sent only to perfect moral character.”

With the revelation of the first verses of the Holy Quran, beginning with the word “Read,” the true nature of Islam was revealed as a religion based on knowledge and learning, affirming that the advancement and progress of nations can only be achieved through awareness and sound understanding. From that moment, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) embarked on his mission of conveying the divine message, enduring the most severe hardships and patiently bearing the harm and challenges he faced, until he led an entire nation from the darkness of a deteriorating reality to the light of guidance and the building of civilization.

Commemorating the anniversary of the Prophet’s mission is a revival of the meanings of guidance, reform, and positive change, and a renewed call to emulate the life of the noble Prophet and adhere to the tolerant principles of Islam, which laid the foundations for a great human civilization whose effects continue to this day.
