The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Training Course on Cybersecurity and the Risks of Artificial Intelligence within the Legal Framework.

The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course entitled “Cybersecurity and the Risks of Artificial Intelligence within the Legal Framework.”

The course was presented by Dr. Jihan Haider Khalil.

This course aimed to explain the concept of cybersecurity as a set of procedures and technologies designed to protect computer systems, networks, data, and digital information from cyberattacks, hacking, damage, or unauthorized use.

The course covered several topics, including types of cyber threats and attacks, how to secure information and personal data, and how to protect digital privacy. It also addressed the risks of personal data leaks.

The presenter recommended focusing on such topics to enhance digital security awareness among students and staff through ongoing seminars and workshops.

She also recommended adopting clear information security policies within educational institutions and integrating cybersecurity concepts into curricula and training programs.
