A Faculty Member from the College of Education for Pure Sciences has been Selected as a Scientific Reviewer for the Food Science & Nutrition Journal.

The Food Science & Nutrition Journal has selected Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Mahdi, Head of the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, as a member of its scientific review panel in the field of food science and nutrition.

The journal focuses on publishing basic and applied research in all aspects of food science and nutrition. It also encourages interdisciplinary research that links food and nutrition with other sciences (such as chemistry, medicine, and biology), food safety and quality, food biotechnology, and the sensory evaluation of food products, as well as innovations in food processing.
