The President of the University of Karbala inaugurates the new building of the College of Education for Pure Sciences
The College of Education for Pure Sciences inaugurated several of its new buildings, including the new college building, in the presence of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Muwaffaq Kadhim Al-Hasnawi, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Adnan Qahtan, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Amjad Al-Husseini, and some department heads and faculty members.
The inauguration included the animal house belonging to the Department of Life Sciences, which is considered an important infrastructure for supporting scientific research and laboratory experiments, as well as the chemical storage facility belonging to the Department of Chemistry, which has been equipped according to approved scientific and safety standards to ensure the safe storage of chemicals used in teaching and scientific research. In addition to the college’s storage building, designed to organize and store the college’s supplies and equipment, the College of Education for Pure Sciences was established free of charge to provide comprehensive services that contribute to creating a suitable university environment for students and faculty.
During his tour, the university president emphasized that these projects are part of the university’s plan to develop infrastructure and improve the educational and research environment, thereby contributing to raising the level of academic performance and meeting the requirements for quality and academic accreditation.
For her part, the dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences indicated that these achievements were realized through the combined efforts of the teaching and administrative staff, with direct support from the university administration. She affirmed the continued work on completing other projects that serve students and researchers and contribute to enhancing the college’s academic progress.
