The Department of Mathematics Receives Academic Accreditation
The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences has received academic accreditation, as per the ministerial decree approved by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi. This significant scientific achievement reflects the continuous efforts of the faculty, scientific staff, and administrative personnel in the department to achieve the highest standards of quality and excellence in education and scientific research.
The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, affirmed that this achievement represents a qualitative addition to the college’s progress, not just to the Department of Mathematics. She noted that it serves as an incentive for other academic departments to strive for academic accreditation and raise their scientific standards, thus enhancing the college’s standing and academic reputation.
This accreditation is the culmination of the development plans adopted by the department, which included updating the curriculum, developing scientific laboratories, and strengthening applied scientific research in line with the latest scientific advancements.
