The Student Activities Department organizes a field trip to the University’s Central Library
The Student Activities Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a field trip for first-year students in the Chemistry Department (morning program) to the University’s Central Library, under the supervision of a select group of faculty members.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the library’s sections and resources. Faculty members provided a detailed explanation of the types of books, theses, and dissertations available, both in print and electronic formats, and demonstrated how to borrow and utilize them.
Furthermore, faculty members guided students on how to utilize the available resources in preparing laboratory reports during their current academic year and how to apply these resources in preparing their graduation research projects when they reached their fourth year.
