The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences represented the University of Karbala at the 9th Annual International Conference on Information and Communication Technology, on behalf of the University President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali. The conference aimed to follow the latest developments and innovations in the field of information and communication technology and to review recent studies and research that keep pace with digital transformation and contribute to developing technological applications that meet the demands of the modern era.

The 9th Annual International Conference on Information and Communication Technology, organized by the University of Information and Communication Technology in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women, commenced under the theme: “Modern Trends in Information and Communication Technology Applications.” It saw wide participation from professors and researchers from various local and international universities, in collaboration with the German publishing house Springer.

The conference featured specialized scientific sessions addressing modern trends in artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, in addition to practical workshops where participants shared their expertise and the latest practical applications in this vital field.
