The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Scientific Lecture on the Art of Human Presence and Charisma.

The Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific lecture entitled “The Art of Human Presence and Charisma.”

The lecture was presented by Asst. Lect. Israa Ali Abu Shanna.

This lecture aimed to explain the concept of charisma as an individual ability to positively influence others and enhance effective communication. It clarified the relationship between charisma, self-confidence, and strength of character, where self-confidence represents the foundation, strength of character is the tool for expression, and charisma is the noticeable result in the eyes of others.

The lecture covered several topics, including an overview of the seven types of charisma: personal, intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and leadership, and methods for developing them through self-awareness and continuous practice.

It also focused on the role of charisma in enhancing students’ personal and social presence in educational and professional environments, and how to use it ethically and inspiringly.

The researcher recommended paying attention to such topics in order to arrive at practical ways to acquire charisma, such as: practicing attention to personal presence, developing body language and tone of voice, actively listening to others, expressing empathy, identifying personal principles and values, and participating in leadership or group situations.
