The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Workshop on University Students and Entrepreneurship.
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a workshop entitled “University Students and Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Project.”
The workshop was presented by Asst. Lect. Hala Khudair Abbas.
This workshop aimed to promote an entrepreneurial culture among university students by introducing them to the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship and highlighting mechanisms for generating creative ideas and methods for developing and transforming them into viable startup projects.
The workshop covered several topics, including understanding the business environment and analyzing the market, and how to prepare an effective business model that helps students move from a theoretical idea to a real entrepreneurial project that contributes to economic and knowledge development.
The presenter recommended the importance of focusing on such topics to encourage students to develop entrepreneurial thinking and innovation skills across various disciplines. She also recommended establishing ongoing training programs within the college to support student ideas and projects, emphasizing the importance of supporting young talent and empowering them to build a professional future based on innovation and entrepreneurship.
