The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Training Course on the Practical Use of Chemical Coating Equipment.
The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course entitled “Practical Training on the Use of Chemical Coating Equipment in the Physics Department’s Graduate Studies Laboratory.”
The course was presented by:
Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Abdul-Razzaq
Dr. Ali Fadhil Mohammed
Asst. Lect. Bashir Mohammed Hussein
This course aimed to explain the mechanisms of operating and implementing precipitation equipment used in coating chemicals on various substrates. Students were trained on a range of specialized equipment used in the pre-precipitation and post-precipitation sample preparation stages, with the goal of equipping them with practical skills that enhance the applied aspect of their scientific research.
The course included several topics, beginning with an introduction to precipitation techniques, defining the types of precipitation and their importance in physics and materials science applications. Practical application involved demonstrating the operation of the equipment to the students and training them to perform the precipitation steps themselves.
The researchers recommended that such topics be given due attention in order to include similar periodic training sessions in the annual graduate studies plan, and to provide a comprehensive research environment that enables students to conduct experiments with the highest level of accuracy.
