A Faculty Member from the University of Karbala Participated in a Ministerial Committee to Establish a Master’s Program at the University of Babylon.

Within the framework of scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Kawthar Abdul Hussein, a faculty member from the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, chaired the ministerial committee tasked with completing the requirements for establishing a Master’s program in the Department of Science/Life Sciences Education at the University of Babylon.

The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Jabbar Al-Juhayshi, along with the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and the Head of the Department of Science. The Dean welcomed the committee, praising its role in supporting academic programs and enhancing scientific rigor.

The committee reviewed the infrastructure, academic structure, and relevant departments, as well as assessing the college’s readiness to host the new program according to the Ministry’s standards.

This participation came as a reinforcement of the role of the College of Education for Pure Sciences in supporting the educational process and exchanging experiences with Iraqi universities. During the visit, the scientific capabilities and infrastructure provided by Tikrit University to host the postgraduate studies program were reviewed, and the academic and administrative aspects related to the establishment were discussed.
