The national evaluation team tasked with assessing academic programs in the Department of Mathematics, College of Education for Pure Sciences, met with a number of students from the department, as part of the approved practical training standards for evaluating academic programs.
The meeting addressed the mechanisms for implementing the requirements of practical training, methods of field supervision, and the extent to which students have acquired the necessary educational and scientific skills. The team also reviewed the students’ experiences in applying what they have learned in schools.
The team members explained that these meetings represent an important part of the comprehensive evaluation process for the academic program of the Department of Mathematics, as they highlight the outcomes of the educational process and the extent to which nationally approved quality standards are met.
