A PhD student from the University of Kerbala Wins First Place in the “Thesis in Three Minutes” Competition…

PhD student Raghad Redha Kazim from the Department of Biology in the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala, under the supervision of Prof. Alaa Abdul-Hussein Al-Dami, participated in the “Thesis in Three Minutes” competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Research and Development. She qualified for the final stages and achieved first place.

The student and her supervisor represented the University of Kerbala in this competition, along with several other Iraqi universities.

This competition is a distinguished scientific activity that aims to measure the ability of doctoral students to present the content of their research theses in just three minutes, in a simple and clear manner that can be understood by non-specialists. This competition reflects their scientific communication skills and creativity in communicating research ideas.
