Female faculty members from the Biology Department participated in awareness campaigns within the College of Education for Pure Sciences. October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and its role in prevention and saving lives. A number of gifts and sweets were distributed during the campaign, aiming to promote a culture of regular self-examination and encourage faculty and students to engage in early detection.
This month is symbolized by the pink ribbon, expressing support and solidarity with those affected. The campaign also emphasized the importance of scientific research and chemical codes that contribute to the development of modern and effective treatments to combat this disease.
