The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, held an expanded meeting with the heads of the departments and coordinators, as well as the directors of the Computer Science and Registration Division.
The meeting discussed the mechanism for student registration on the electronic SIS system, adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and ways to overcome any obstacles that may hinder the registration process. It emphasized the need to accurately enter data and ensure continuous updating to ensure smooth operations and serve the interests of students.
The meeting also discussed the method for student registration on the SIS system, providing students with login IDs, and following up on this process daily with department heads, installing the program, and recording other student information. It also discussed completing the registration of course materials and class schedules and distributing them to professors. It also discussed completing the registration of faculty and staff information.
During her meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of joint cooperation among all units and departments to ensure the success of the digital transformation taking place in the higher education sector. She noted that the success of this project represents an important step toward advancing the administrative and academic aspects of the college.
