Department Council Meeting in the Chemistry Department
A Department Council meeting was held in the Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, chaired by the Head of the Biology Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shatha Abdul Amir Jawad, and attended by the council members.
The meeting included discussions on a number of important academic and administrative issues on the agenda, including:
– Urging faculty members to adhere to the 30-hour work week, in accordance with ministerial directives. – Paying attention to lectures and adhering to the scheduled lecture times. – Providing student guidance and dedicating the first 15 minutes of the lecture to awareness. – Encouraging students to wear the uniform and ensuring faculty members maintain a proper appearance during class.
The attendees emphasized the need for concerted efforts to create a distinguished educational and research environment that keeps pace with modern developments and contributes to supporting the progress of the department and college.
