Kerbala International Journal of Pure Sciences Participates in the First Meeting of the Editorial Boards of Iraqi Scientific Journals
The Kerbala International Journal of Pure Sciences, published by the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala, participated in the first meeting of the editorial boards of Iraqi scientific journals. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Technology in Baghdad on Wednesday, April 10, 2025, under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The meeting aimed to develop a national strategy for developing Iraqi journals and elevating them to international standards by unifying publishing and peer review standards, enhancing research quality, and exchanging expertise among editorial boards.
The journal was represented at the meeting by the Managing Editor, accompanied by the technical staff. They contributed by presenting visions and proposals for developing editorial work mechanisms and adopting modern publishing techniques. This would enhance the journal’s chances of being included in international databases and raise its standing among respected academic journals.
This participation comes within the framework of the University of Karbala and the College of Education for Pure Sciences’ commitment to supporting scientific research and consolidating the position of Iraqi journals in international forums.
