The esteemed Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Hamida Eidan Salman, chaired the master’s thesis defense committee for student Tahrir Ghiath Majeed from the Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences. Her thesis was titled “Synthesis and Identification of Diazomethen Organic Ligands and Several of Their Chelated Complexes with a Bacterial Study.”
The defense committee included a select group of professors specializing in chemistry. The defense took place in a respectful scientific atmosphere characterized by a rich presentation and exchange of scientific insights, which added academic and cognitive value to the presented research.
