The Dean’s Participation in the Annual Scientific Conference at the University of Kerbala

The esteemed Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, participated in the annual scientific conference organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala for student graduation projects for 2025. She actively participated and presented innovative projects by the college’s students.
The conference included a special exhibition of student projects, which this year numbered (60) projects presented by students in both final and non-final stages at the college. The conference provides technical solutions to address serious problems in various fields, including health, the environment, artificial intelligence, electronic management of institutions, cybersecurity, and crowd management, in addition to other topics of great importance.
The University President, Professor Sabah Wajid Ali, accompanied by the Chairman of the Karbala Provincial Council, Dr. Qasim Al-Yasari, the Chairman of the Education Committee in the Provincial Council, Dr. Mohsen Al-Kinani, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Muwaffaq Al-Hasnawi, reviewed the projects presented by the students during the conference. The university president praised the efforts made by the students and their professors to complete these projects, which he described as “distinctive and practical,” and which can be used to address numerous problems in various government sectors. He noted that the university’s doors are open to all government departments to submit their problems so that our university can address them through innovative and qualitative projects.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Muwaffaq Al-Hasnawi, explained that the conference presents a package of projects completed by students under the supervision of the college’s professors. These projects provide effective solutions to a range of problems in various sectors, which government institutions in need can leverage to achieve operational flexibility.
Over the past few days, the university has hosted numerous scientific conferences in the fields of applied humanities. These conferences aim to enrich research and scientific activity and provide solutions to various problems, based on the university’s role as a scientific institution that contributes to supporting sustainable development plans and providing scientifically based solutions to address societal and sectoral challenges.
