Developing Specialized Programs and Providing Scholarships in the Fields of Artificial Intelligence

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed the development of specialized programs and the provision of study fellowships in the field of artificial intelligence.
This came in his speech during the opening of the international scientific conference held by the University of Baghdad on artificial intelligence and the possibilities of transformation in the human sciences, where the Minister of Education said that the ministry is interested in this path, which required it to launch its award for artificial intelligence in scientific research and to establish and develop specialized programs in primary and postgraduate studies, as well as Theses, dissertations and research support this goal, and the provision of fellowships and scholarships in the field of artificial intelligence in a number of international universities.
He added that the accelerating growth rates within the field of artificial intelligence impose simultaneous entitlements and responsibilities and at the same time provide important possibilities for transformation and cognitive and procedural expansion in all fields of science, including the humanities, stressing that there is no escape for those working in this sector to enter this field and harness artificial intelligence in the stages of education. And learning, anticipating results, and making every effort to work together to develop tools, techniques, and research that enhance the capabilities to understand and recognize current challenges and requirements.
The opening proceedings of the conference, which will last for two days, included speeches by the President of the University of Baghdad and the Dean of the College of Arts, as well as dialogue and scientific sessions in which international researchers participate, dealing with the applications of artificial intelligence in climate research, the electronic Babylonian library platform that includes reading and reconstructing cuneiform texts with the help of artificial intelligence, and the challenges of philosophical discourse. In the era of digital transformation, generative modeling, and the spectral index to identify sand dunes using satellite images, the role of artificial intelligence in the future of scientific research, the status of the use of artificial intelligence in contemporary Japanese literature, the role of artificial intelligence in scientific research, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in psychology.
