A teacher from the Department of Biology Participates as a member in a Thesis Discussion Committee in the College of Science at the University of Babylon
The lecturer from the Department of Biology, Prof. Dr. Kawthar Abdel-Hussein Mahdi, participated as a member in the discussion committee for the master’s thesis by the student (Nawras Thabet Manadi) from the College of Science at the University of Babylon for her thesis entitled “The Effect of the Biosynthesis of Silver Nanoparticles on Infection with Visceral Leishmaniasis in Cell Lines.” . The study showed the positive effect of secondary silver particles on cell lines infected with the Leishmania parasite and cancer cell lines, as well as studying the immune response to some parameters of the cells. The thesis was approved with distinction.
