The College of Medicine / University of Babylon chose teaching Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Al-Safi from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Biology, as a scientific evaluator in the Medical Journal of Babylon. Babel Medical Journal is considered the first Iraqi medical journal to enter the Scopus digester, after journals affiliated with the colleges of science, agriculture, and pharmacy at the universities of Baghdad, Kerbala, and Basra, where Babil Medical Journal entered the Scopus digester.
The magazine specializes in publishing original scientific research of a distinguished level on various medical topics and basic medical sciences. The submitted research is subject to scientific evaluation by experts from inside and outside Iraq, and the research is published in English. The selection of the teaching assistant, Dr. Alaa Hussein Al-Safi, as a scientific evaluator in this magazine came as a result of his evaluation of more than one research in the field of the required specialization, his scientific standing, and his distinguished objectivity.
