The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the University of Karbala organized the first job fair with the participation of a group of companies, departments, and government and private institutions operating in the province of Karbala. The exhibition was organized as part of the university’s endeavor to act as a link between graduates and companies operating in the province to encourage them to engage in work with private institutions, and to stay away from attempts to wait for government appointments. The university also seeks through organizing the exhibition to expand the list of companies and institutions registered with official authorities, which can be used to train students during the summer vacation to enhance the practical aspects of its students. The exhibition, which was attended by Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi, and hosted by the College of Management and Economics, was attended by about 30 companies, departments, and institutions operating in Karbala governorate from the public and private sectors, where the participating parties reviewed their products and services in the presence of a large number of students and professors. The university dedicated part of the exhibition to the presentation of the projects of its students, where a group of students reviewed some projects that can be developed to perform various functions according to the university.
