The World Health Organization announced the selection of lecturer Professor Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf from the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences as a resident member of the Eastern Mediterranean Health Journal, affiliated with the World Health Organization, which is published by the Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean.
This journal is considered one of the top public health journals in the region. The magazine was published in 1995 as a result of the merger of two previous magazines that were published by the Regional Office: the Journal of Health Services and the Bulletin of Epidemiology of the Eastern Mediterranean Region. The magazine aims to contribute to improving health in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
It specializes in publishing and disseminating high-quality health research and information, with a focus on public health and its importance to the region. The selection of the teaching professor, Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf, as a member of this journal came as a result of her evaluation of more than one research in the field of the required specialization, its scientific standing, and its distinguished objectivity.
